Day 1: Arusha / Moshi – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast in Arusha or Moshi, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, travelling through scenic countryside and local villages. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, including groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the alkaline lake itself. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant families, hippos, and abundant birdlife such as flamingos and pelicans. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while observing wildlife at close range. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Manyara and travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive offers breathtaking views of rolling hills, vast plains, and Maasai communities along the way. Upon entering the Serengeti, enjoy an en-route game drive as you head towards your lodge or camp. Spot giraffes, zebras, elephants, and predators roaming the endless savannah. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive across the plains. In the evening, arrive at your accommodation for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti National Park

This day is dedicated to a full-day safari in Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. After an early breakfast, head out for extensive game drives across the vast plains, following wildlife movements and predator activity. The Serengeti is home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush while observing animals in their natural environment. Continue exploring different areas of the park in the afternoon before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. Later, depart the park and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. Arrive in the Ngorongoro Highlands in the afternoon and check in at your lodge or tented camp near the crater rim. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying spectacular views over the Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and overnight at the lodge, preparing for the final safari highlight the next day.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Moshi

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. Explore this natural wonder, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by stunning scenery. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha or Moshi. Arrive by evening, marking the end of an unforgettable Tanzania safari experience filled with wildlife, landscapes, and lasting memories.
